Easy peasy salad dish It’s also perfect coz the fruits are in season during summer.
For the sauce:
1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 tbsp. fish sauce
1 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. sugar
1 pc. kalamansi or 1 tbsp. lemon
1 pc. sili labuyo
This is so easy to make
Slice the strawberries. Dice the mangoes. Boil the shrimps, remove the shells, keep the meat. Set the ingredients aside. You can also add other fruits that are in season. Dragonfruit (if you find one) will be a nice addition (flavor and color).
For the sauce, just mix the red wine vinegar, fish sauce, water, sugar, and lemon/kalamansi. Adjust depending on which taste you’d like to highlight (i.e., add more sugar if you want it sweet, more vinegar if you want it sour, or the fish sauce if you want it salty). In my case, I observed the 1:1 proportion Add as many siling labuyo or chili as you like. You can also add chopped nuts on the sauce.
Arrange the fruits in your plate and serve with the sauce on a separate container.
